Over Boost Anhialator

I ordered an over boost anhialtor (spelling?) and it should be in the mail. Its supposed to stop the check engine light and the automatic action the computer takes when it senses too much boost from the turbo. Does anyone know where it actually goes?

I imagine it would go inline with the map sensor. More than likely it's where you put the boost gauge line from. Just keep the ECU from reading all the boost.

If you got it from Dennis at ITP then this will be the exact instructions. If you got a different version, you still will get the idea.

VERY easy install. Rivals the HPX as one of the easiest mods to put in.

It stops the overboost CEL and the defueling when too much boost (24 psi +) is detected. OTOH, it will do nothing if the CEL light is from lack of oil pressure. P1211 code

I'm NOT saying that is your problem. You need a code scanner to tell. Chipped vehicles tend to have those issues. I had it with my 60HP Tow tune and I wasn't even at WOT.

Try Autozone. Sometimes they have a reader that will read your codes. I have an Auto X-Ray that will. If were were closer, I'd let you use it but I don't have that long a cable to reach you. eBay Motors: Auto Xray Diagnostic Scanner Chrysler XP240 (item 300231252255 end time Jun-12-08 20:34:44 PDT)

That one looks like mine. I'm not sure if it would work for you. I might have an old OBD II cable I can spare that will work if it were he same one.
