So if I give a Ford Lighning 1/2 throttle, should I expect the engine to blow? If the engine is built right, I surely hope not...but I run it without oil (read: clipping) I can expect it to blow....
there are reasons all car audio manufactures build lower powered amps, I don't think it was to contradict, so they would blow their own subs.......

I have never 'worked' in the industry, I would have stated so earlier. I do have an industrial engineering degree and a strong aptitude for math. I was a super interested audiophile for many years. Have read many people's experiences with different drivers and enclosures and have taken this in light of my own experiences to for my opinions. My opinions are not easily swayed because someone with a flashy name comes telling me I'm wrong.

This has nothing to do with anything. You cannot make a speaker analogy with a car. Why do you guys keep trying this one. It makes you look silly, if anyone would step back and truely take a look. Just like that voluime **** argument, silly. And the toaster?

Yea, they have included people who do not want to spend a fortune. But these people that do not want to buy large amps, will not likely buy big fancy speakers either. It's all marketing, you should know that very well.

And I quote directly from one of your previous posts.
"**Same for cars. Light weight + powerful motor = fast acceleration. Ask any drag racer."
Interesting....
Which argument are you going to try now? DF? Mms? Underpowering? Got anything else you would like to attempt?
How about claiming that Adire is trying to sell more speakers by writing a tech article explaining that a low inductance driver is "faster" when their available woofers probably wouldn't be considered low inductance.
We are eagerly awaiting your latest opinion with links that don't back what you are saying.

textbook boss, or 'real' boss....with your attitude, I wish you luck job hunting.......

And I am qaulified to be your boss. What this has to do with anything is beyond any logical explanation.
Is this your latest attempt at diversion?
No offense.

What is your qualification? Let me guess, God?
What diversion? The argument is over, now beggar off!

I accept your concession.
Thank you for finally understanding.

I made the assumption that you had conceded based on your comment that the argument was over. If you haven't conceded, we have only begun trying to help you understand.

Oh, I understand. And I don't need your help. I know not what reason you are here. I guess you have an inferiority complex or something. You must need the support of others you look up to. But fact is, they and you, do not have a single standard. You all contradict yourselves and cannot produce relevant analogies.
You are well versed in PR, but that don't matter to me, I am an island. I do not seek the approval of others. I could not care less.

The only thing you brought to the table was that you disagreed with Newton and then tried to discredit Adire Audio by simply saying the paper was merely trying to sell their subs. As I stated earlier, Adire doesn't have any subwoofers that have an extremely low inductance. Why would they try to "sell" low inductance when it isn't a feature that they an especially good spec on?
Can't we discredit any of your industry tech papers as merely marketing jargon by saying they are just trying to sell larger amps? I would never do it, but it seems like the kind of response you would use.

I am agreeing with Einstein, who said mass increases with velocity. Therefore, if your acceleration approaches infinity, your mass will be very heavy indeed.
consider this equation M = Mrest/(1-(v/c)^2)^.5
as v approaches c, you get a very large mass.
If this isn't enough to prove his argument bunk, then he himself used assumptions to claim fact.
That does it for me, sealed up tight. The guys is practicing PR, whether he knows it or not.

Sure, if you can first PROVE THAT THEIR ARGUMENT IS BUNK!!!
