Really need a gauge in the oil system or a scan to see the IPR/ICP.
With the way it went on you my WAG is electrical or the IPR has the drain open. (stuck or bad o-ring)
Is it normal for the HPOP resevoir to be empty after sitting?
No ... a bad injector O ring can cause both of the problems you have ,, no start & empty res.....
You can also pull the valve covers & watch for oil bubbling up from the base of an injector ( or two)....A guage will isolate which side to look at....

Bill
.......X 2.........A guage is cheaper then a dealer scan...
Finally, Through a friend we have come across a ford mech. that is bring home a scanner, so he is going to be nice enough come by and scan it for me.
Now what all should i look for?
ok got it scanned and it threw two codes....
P0603- nothing really
P1280-Low pressure ICP
So with a connection i got a new icp and plug for 50 bucks and put it all in and stilll nothing......
Now were waiting to see if this connection can make its way to my truck to check the oil pressures.
You can dead head the pump left side/right side.
One at a time. This will find a leak in one or the other head. (inj o-ring)
Also can pull the VC's and look around the inj's.
My WAG is still the IPR. It happened to suddon.
Could have blown an inj o-ring if you were out playing with the truck with the chip turned up.
