I installed my new stearing stabilizer, so far it corrected the death woble when I hit pot holes. But when I accelerate (punch it) and build speed really fast it starts shaking.....any thoughts on what to do next? thanks
I am thinking of adding a steering stabilizer as well. When is adding one actually recomended? I am thinking of going to 35" M/T's and I did not know if I should do it or not.
For the record, I use a ProComp single stabilizer, and I run 305/75R16's (33") tires. The truck rides like a dream...
I haven't know the D/W on my current truck, but the best fix for the death wobble that I have ever known was the proper combination of tire pressure, wheel balance, 4 wheel alignment and well maintained front-end parts, including BIG after market stabilizer(s). All lessons learned with my '92 6.9L Crew Cab long bed... 35x12.50z16.5's mounted on 28.5 feet of shakin' fury!
