quite expensive and my dad didn't like it either (it died right in the way of his dumptrucks, but i did learn how many people you need to push it up a slight incline haha) I am curious though if she has a WTS light, but like lisa said it did start at first. hmmmm
Something got wet, that's for sure.
If I were working at this this problem I would unplug EVERY connection and make sure it is dry and corrosion free.
Leave them unplugged for 24-48 hours to allow them to dry.
My husband just towed my truck to the dealer. they hooked it up and couldn't read anything. But they said if I left it there until Monday they would have some one else look at it. They told him they think the fuel injectors are shot. It is not staying there, when he gets it home we will look at it again. Even if we have to unplug every connection.

Where are you located I need to remember that dealer

Jeez, did not you not look around here first? That is going to be one expensive tow. The stealership???? Injector's? Hope you just learned something!
The good news is the tow didn't cost anything. The sealership only charged him $80.00 for today. But if he left it for Monday(for the other tech) he would be very costly. I don't beleive its the injection pump or the injectors. Any thoughts?

Did you check all the fuses? Do you have a "wait to start light"?
My truck is back home now, I am going to take the very good advise I got from everyone and go start unplugging everything and cleaning it. Hope fully something will work.
We pulled oil pressure switch on top of the high pressure resvour. shouldn't the engine light come on after doing that? Also we pulled the 9 pin, cleaned them and reconneted them. One was full of diesel. It is sounding better but still will not start. Batteries are good.
I'd go ahead and remove the inspection plug and check the oil level in there. It's the flat screw in thing with a torx fitting. Remove that, make sure oil is within 1" from the top, then screw it back in.
I can't think of a fuse that would cause it to run rough then die, but it would be a good idea to check all your fuses.
When the truck was running rough did you have a check engine light? Have you disconnected the batteries since then? If not then there should be a code stored that the dealer should have picked up. If you disconnected them to clean or charge the code is probably gone.
Anyone know if you can throw a code while cranking or just when running?
I would have to say it's electrical,,,,somewhere. A bad connection, PCM, a lot of guesses on this thread. Could be any of them. I don't see how all injectors went bad at once. When cranking the engine, the tach should have been moving. If so, then the CPS is doing its job. If not, then there is the first place ot look. Also battery connections. Voltage, is the voltage up to 12 volts? It's possible to crank the engine with the batteries, but if you don't have the proper voltage, it won't fire. I know it's at the dealer now. So, hopefully, they will treat you right.
Dan's advice to unplug connections and let it sit is alright, but a hair dryer or heat gun will speed things up. Be carefull with a heat gun though, cuz they get hot.
