I was thinking the same thing Curtis......an EGT probe in the downpipe is on average 200-300 degrees lower temps, sorta mis-leading if you are reading typical EGT posts on here.
If it's completely flat ground and no wind (almost impossible around here), I'm turning around 2100 rpm's, hover around 600-650 degrees, and about 5 psi of boost.
But since it's Colorado, around Denver my EGT's range from 450-900 degrees while crusing a steady speed at 70 mph, boost between 3-12 psi. Up in the mountains on I-70, EGT's cruising at 70 range from 300-1000 degrees, and boost between 3-20 psi. That's just maintaining a steady speed. Got altitude?
I'm in the same boat as POCKET, since I live less than 20miles from Parker, CO.
What gears do you have? 2100RPMs @ 70MPH with 36" tires? I've got 3.73s with ~33" tires (255/85R16 Big O XTs) and figuring in the correction factor I'm right about 1950RPMs for an actual 70MPH. With 36's I'd think you be lower, unless you're running 4.10s or deeper?
P.S. - Gary (GEugeneS) that is one SWEET RIG!!! I'm actually looking at buying a 99 Dually in white right now..... must.... resist....can't afford double-PMS!!!

I run anywhere from 400-700 depending on outside temps, and whether or not I'm going up a hill. It's mostly flat around here though. On interstates in the summer, I'm right around 550-600 on flat stretches. In the winter, probably around 450-500, unless it's really cold out -- that's when I see low 400s. It climbs up depending on the length of the overpass/hill but those are average numbers for me here in North Texas. My probe is in the up-pipe.
You know, I haven't looked. The previous owner installed it so I guess I'll have to check it tomorrow. I thought it was a few inches back from the EBPV.

Brendan, Thanks for the compliment. I always liked the duallies. I still have my '91 F350 gasser and pulled my trailer with that for years. Building a 550 ci stroker for it and it needs to be repainted, but I'll get it done someday. No $ now.
Also when I bring the '02 back down to between 60 and 65 I run between 600 and 700 on the flats.
