Pull the valve covers before you tear too far into it. Might have just busted a rocker arm or bent a pushrod. Overrevving generally does simple stuff like that.
well put the IDM in the truck today. Seemed a little gain but not really sure. For a free mod I say go for it. Also I went from a IDM 120 to the 140 volt so maybe had I gone from stock IDM to the 140 I would have noticed more change.
Also I agree with Scott pull the VC's and see if there is anything under there to see. They need to some off anyway to do a compression test.

Yea Tim, I bet from stock to 140 you would see a more noticeable difference. I went from a dieing IDM to a 140Volt and it was a night and day difference. I don't even know how my truck was running, the entire IDM was covered in that green coating that cover electronics if they get wet! Not to good!

That's what we're seeing with stock injector trucks. A small but noticable gain. On my truck (180 splits) it was like a kick in the tail. A big difference even with the chip in the stock setting. All the trucks I've done start quicker and seem to idle better.
