i switched to a 5.6k resistor and im not sure if i can tell much of a difference maybe a lil but probably my mind playin tricks on me -will a 5.6k resistor hurt anything on the eot mod
oh coon i like the mod but i did it the day after i modded my idm to 140 volts that i got a very nice power increase out of both of them it seems like my truck has doubled in power from when i first got it, the cat was clogged ,and first gear was nothin , now i can squeel tires with 355 rear end easily with them few easy and cheap mods i cant wait to get injectors and chip
The EOT mods works ok with a 5 speed but be careful with an auto. It not only changes the fuel delivery and timing but it'll keep the torque convertor from locking. Pay attention to your ATF temp gauge and/or install a TC lock light so you can see how long the lockup is delayed.
i have had no change in torque converter operation. none at all... i stilll have the ngs so i will get static displays of the eot before and imediatly after to show the difference in temp the resistor makes
