the only way to get the "ricer with a fart can" sound is to have a ricer with a fart can. hell, the 4.0 V6 in my explorer with a fart can would still have an american muscle rumble to it...

Those new 3.7L V6 mustangs sound badass. I normally hate the v6 sound but they actually sound good.

my 4.0 has always had a rumble to it. its a V6 with the bark of a V8 and the low end torque of a 300...

yeah both head gaskets had been replace at some time. cause it had 78 heads on it. but overall a great base to build.

yeah, looks like a solid motor. id throw a stroker crank and a .020 bore at it, set of boss heads and a crower cam and let the sucker come uncorked.

aint goin crazy with it to much. just gonna have a good cam. probably Gt40 heads, flat top pistons. and a few other goodies. like underdrive pulleys long tube headers etc.

well, for the cam, go to crower, not comp. crower not only tells you the specs for each cam, but where the power band is for it, and what kinda use it would be suited for. i know a few guys that have built a LOT of ford motors in their days, and they all agree that crower has a better grind, and performance for the buck.
