installed lace up, steering wheel cover. kinda disappointed, it was too light. It didn't match the color of my dash the way I would have liked.

Changed the oil and filter, drained the tranny and re-filled it, same to the transfer case, topped off the front diff, drained the rear and re-filled it and installed a cheap-o CB.

Found a nice split bench seat in 95 F150 super cab at the scrap yard. My seat is trashed and upholstery shops are pretty pricey. Truck that the split bench is in is due to crushed soon so the price will be right.

put some Mile Marker hubs on it and a new clutch. seems good now, but next up is to rereplace the clutch and get a new flywheel. Probally get a new connecting rod for the clutch.

Turns out the cruise doesn't work in this truck. Upon further inspection, the original plug has been replaced with the same type of plug, the was but spliced to the old wires. The only ploblem is that I took the plug off to clean up the splices and plugs to then reattach it to hopefully get the cruise working.

Now I'm sitting here feeling stupid, not marking the white wires to know how they connect to the black and green wires. I'm contemplating going home over lunch and cutting the plug with black and green wires from my 95 to put on my 96, or pulling the whole wiring harness so that my 96 has a non butchered harness. I have no idea how hard that would be though.

I'm wondering why the original plug was replaced in the first place.
If the fused link was installed, I have no idea why someone would cut and splice the original connector.

This truck didn't have the fused link installed. That's actually how I found out about it. I was going to put the one I have from my old truck in, then found out that I've got a mess going on. I'm gonna have to do some research on cruise control (something I know nothing about), because I used my old truck as a reference to put it back together and it still doesn't work.

Moved the truck there for the night and a big storm came in while I was sleeping and blew the tree over and almost hit it. Now my dad understands why I don't park it there.
