I like that tail gate panel. I think it looks awesome. There are holes through the tailgate and it will like crap with out it. There are 6-8 torx head screws through the tailgate and 2 nuts on each side of the tail gate.

Painting the wiper arms and things like that works well most of the time. I would not recommend painting the plastic door handles. With all the contaminants in the plastic and the fact the it is always getting touched, the paint will rub and flake off.

For the wiper arms I would use a satin or semigloss paint.

Thanks, I like yours as well. Its funny though, I am the exact opposite, I'm a Washingtonian that transplanted to Oregon. Bought my truck in The Dalles, OR after I rolled my '90 (such a sad day).. Came to La Grande for college, and just liked it too much to leave. I enjoy it as well, there's a ton of good people with a lot of information to share. See you out there!

lol omfg.... well turns out it isnt the original tailgate... i took the panel off

only 4 nuts 2 on each side... and i looked and saw in big indented letters FORD and then i saw the poorly cut holes for the thing in the middle to stick threw for the 2 screws in the middle that arent there....

oh well at least they painted it and put the panel on straight.... i guess ill leave it on there...

no kidding.. i found out that the guy before me yanked out all of the heater vacum lines and just ran a hardwire to the heater and then yanked that before he sold the truck to me..so my heater runs off a hard wire toggle switch

and i know the grills are off my speakers...

oh yea the J B weld was for the grills in the door panels because they was sorta knocked out as u can see in the second pic and also the mounting screw hole was broken off too so i re-attached it
