Was Runnin Powerservice up until a couple of months ago then my brother who owns one one of those cummins was talkin to a few truckers to see if they were running anything to lube the injectors in their rigs and they weren't so we decided they sit in those rigs all day long and don't seem to worry about it and we should't either. However I was able to put a little B-20 in the other day and I beleive it quieted down my injectors. Randy
Don't know what it was but seemed to quiet down the motor I think, ofcourse sometimes our imagination gets the best of us. Randy
Yes but did it occur to you that in the engine, there are explosions going on several times a second? That is the engine sound. Lubricity has little to do with it. I have seen them test injectors and all you hear is clicking noises. Something that unless you recorded the engine sound and filtered out the rest of the noise, you cannot hear the injectors click. That is why I think it is imagination as far as hearing the injectors go.
Bio has higher cetane and so it ignites at a different time in relation to the piston. Now, by changing the combustion characteristics, you alter the sound of the explosion going on.

Thanks Aklim
Think you just taught me something - just wish I could get that Bio in town instead of another. Randy
I'm using Lucas injector cleaner and I just used another one that I think is Power service. I added it when the tank was low and drove around all day hoping it would clean up the injectors while it was still concentrated. Didn't notice anything but it's just one day of driving. Oh and just added $50 of diesel, didn't want to fill it but I do need to tow a car trailer tomorrow so I need some fuel.
