ahhhhhh man.....comon......if your confident with the welder you will have absolutely no problem......just bend you some 2"x.25DOM and tack it up.....if you like it burn it in........im sure your more expeirnced fabber than me....

lol i'm gettin fired up. i may attempt this this weekend!

nick, what rod did you use to burn in the steel to cast? high nickel content?

Ni99 is the best I think with heating before and after.

Also a .030 mig wire with 75%oxy 25%CO2 will work but I prefer stick.

I love my Lincoln 250 ACDC but maybe thats because I have a crappy fire power 130 mig

Just make sure the rod is good and dry. Might throw the box in the oven or electrode heater to get it up to par.
