Hey George, how did you make out with that mod? As it turns out I was able to make the mod I wanted on my tranny today. Added a 1/4" spacer on the outer spring of the 1-2 accumulator and had the exact improvement I was looking for. Nice and firm with no glide slip anymore (even at full power).

 

Well I'm holding off on it for now the more I drove it the more I was happy with it and I'm thinking I should wait till I get the boost valve in to see what it does for me. I may try adding another spring seeing as I can revers that if it makes it too harsh with the boost valve. Once I see what the boost valve does then i may drill the valve body. I need to pull my engine to take care of some oil leaks so I'll be able to get at the pump then.
