I've installed a C-6 out of a 1970 T-Bird into my 58 F-100. It's mated to a 429 CI out of same type of vehicle. My question is this...
I've purchased an NOS Safety Neutral Switch for a 1967-1973 Cougar to mount on my tranny. I'm not too worried about getting it to fit (Bought the one for the C-6) but I don't know how to wire it.
It has 4 wires that come from the switch, 2 black and 2 black with red tracers. Where do I wire them into to make it work? Which ones go where?
I'm guessing from what I've been able to find so far that one wire goes to the switch, one wire goes to the starter selenoid but what about the other two? Are these for back up lights or what?
Any help will be appreciated!
Black/Red stripe are the reverse lights.
Other ones ...one to ignition switch, most likely red/blue stripe stock if stock wiring, and other one to starter relay "S" terminal.
