How do you clean the under carriage? I need to do some work under the truck, and would like to keep from eating the dirt and crap from under the truck.
Is there a good way? Or is it a high pressure hose and or a brush?
I use high pressure and a brush. If you have big chunks just be aware that car wash owners get all upset if you drive off and leave that stuff. Never stops me though.
I like your new avatar, great picture of the kid with the bird. What kind of bird is that?
.
I don't know of any other way than to get a wetsuit on and a diving mask and go under with a pressure washer and get it done.
Some people have said... park you truck on the lawn (or i suppose your driveway would work) and put one of those oscillating lawn sprinklers under neath. Then you just let it soak away for a bit. I think the lawn is recommended because it helps to not waste water.

Thanks, Its a Marble Cockatiel. Unfortunately last week my dog got into the house while we were at work and killed the bird. I wanted to kill the dog, but he is just doing what dogs do. Still dont like it though.
That bird (Stewart) was the coolest smartest bird I have ever seen. He though he was human. We miss him.

If you go at night......they never know who left all that mud

Yep, I have some friends that swear by this.
I've used a pressure washer but it's hard to get it all out underneath. I still have mud under there and it's been 2+ years since I've played in the mud
Watch for the cameras at some of the car washes. Saw on the news today a lady got caught spraying her child down with the high pressure option and was busted for child endangerment. I dont know if they could track your license plate down?

thats what i always did with the mudtrucks if i couldnt get them washed out before all the mud dried. it really sucks getting it all out but mud adds weight so it had to all come out.

I always thought a pressure washer with a 'J' at the end would work really well, or even some of the plant water things turned upside down. Either way, it is always messy.
