I can't believe it took this long for a bunch of fishermen to toss that one out there.
I said that to an old girlfriend, but instead it was drinking.

I grew up fishing and continue to fish. Used to commercial fish but decided not to go bankrupt and got a different job.

Winter, Spring, and Summer Kings.
Red and Silvers...occational dog and humpy.
Halibut, Ling Cod, Rock Fish.
Rainbows, Steelhead, Dolly Varden, and Greyling.
Use whatever it takes...fly rod, bait caster, spinning, dupont specials, etc.

Catch and Kill Subsistance Style

Since I moved to Colorado, my fishing has slowed. In Minnesota we could go to the lake most weekend and catch a slew of fish. Warm water fishing here is different. We still go back to northern MN every summer for a fishing vacation. That's when I try to do all my "real" fishing for the year. Here's what I tell all my Colorado friends: "Do you know what we call a trout in MN? -Bait."

I may go fishing today if I can get my boat out of the back yard. I will have to use my quad to pull it out because we have had 5 inches of rain since Friday & I know I'd stick my F250 if I backed out in the yard. I almost stuck the F250 2 weeks ago when I pulled my little cargo trailer from the back yard. Its rained about 8 inches & snowed 7 inches since I pulled it out & its much lighter than my boat. I think I'll go see if the quad will tow it without cutting up the yard. I have water standing all over the yard & its like mush its so soft.

You guys need to come to Vancouver Canada, we have some of the best salmon fishing in the world... Not into Salmon, then we also have Steelhead, Rainbow, Brook, Kokanee (the fish & the beer) Dolly Vardon. Most are with in the Lower Mainland.. Most of the top salmon world records are held in the Vancouver Island area (300 miles of island 16 miles off the coast of Vancouver)... 90% of our rivers contain fish most of the year, most of our lakes in the GVRD (Greater Vancouver Reginal District) are stocked

Why you calling Dolly Vardon a fish. She's not a bad country singer.

I remember seeing tons of fishing boats near Campbell River and Nanaimo.
Never made it to Bella Coola, though.
