CAn someone please point me to a good source for a speedo cable. I installled a C6, so i need it to be longer then what i guess is the stock one i removed with the C4. Stock speedo & C6 transmission.
I also need a speedo glass for the stock cluster. Thanks.

What year is the truck? Your profile says 1964. If that's correct, the original cable was 63 inches long. How much longer do you need?
1968/72 F100/250's with a C6 have a 75 1/2" cable: C7TZ-17260-AB.
C7TZ-17260-U ~ FTE sponsor GREEN SALES has one of these. It was used on 1971/72 F100/350's with a 4 speed, but the hookup is the same. It's 75 1/4" long.
Before going any further...I need to know the approximate length, there are literally dozens of cables to choose from.

I would say that i need somewhere around the 75" or so. It almost reaches to connect at both ends. I took the cable from the '73 doner truck, but the head end of it is very different on the newer generation. I was thinking that I might need to have one made.

1973 and later: The cable connects to the speedo head with a clip.
The pre 1973 cables screw on to the speedo head.
Look for one from 1967/72. C6's used the same cable 68/72 that '67's with COM did.
Don't limit your search to trucks, a car speedo cable will also work. Same ends, same trans and speedo head connections.
