C-6 advice please...
Ok so my truck has a lag when I put it in gear, fluid is clean and full. If I increase the rpm's to about 2000 it goes into gear hard. Does the modulator affect this or just 1-2-3 shifts? The truck is new to me and not on the road yet so I don't know what it does in that respect. Also where can I get a speedo cable to go from this trans to my stock speedo? 65 custom cab sweep speedo if it matters.

hard seals, lets the fluid bypass till you raise the rpm's enough to overcome the lack of volume. try some trans conditioner, it should soften the seals and correct the problem you're having. but at some point in the future you're in for a trans overhaul, no biggie with a c-6
