c6 electric plug at speedo cable?

Hello,
I am in the process of installing a Doug Nash O/D to my c6 e250. Can anyone tell me what the electrical connector that plugs into the stock c6 tailhousing at the the speedo cable location is used for? There is no place on the DN for it. Please tell me it isn't for the Cruise Control.

Not sure. I am sitting at work right now and cant check. I just know it plugs in right next to where the speedo cable goes in.

Okay, sounds easy enough. So I should just be able to call the dealer and tell them what I need?
