SKY brackets

with the SKY shackle brackets,do you just use the original holes on frame?would you rotate the bracket at all,or go forward or back at all? just wondering if this would be of any benefit,or just keep it simple, and bolt it up.

The sky brackets are awesome from what Ive seen. They reuse the same holes.

I think captainp4 (paul) has them. Maybe he will chime in.

I used the original holes because I was too lazy to drill new ones, so my shackle angle isn't too good. If you do drill new holes you'll want to move it forward to get the angle right, I think

I made mine but they are pretty much the same thing as Sky's. I just kept tack welding them on and letting the weight back down till I got the shackel angle where I wanted it.

thats how i did it. i did use the stock holes but the shackle angle was terrible and the ride suffered. i ended up moving mine forward almost 2" (no bed, no weight on the rear and strictly a toy truck)
