CB Whips

I got 4' whips and was wondern if I outlined the wire that raps around the whip and spray painted the tips red if that would hurt my outgoing and incoming signals. I know this isn't about powerstrokes but you guys are always a big help.

I don't think it will hurt anything. Sounds like a lot of work but I don't think it will hurt anything

do u think the paint would ware off in rain or maybe it would take a rain or two?

it would take the rain. Use a paint designed for plastic and that will help.

ok so just find a plastic pait that is water resistent would the plastic paint work on the rubber tips?

it will work better than regular paint I am sure.

plastic paint = krylon fusion.... good stuff. thats what i painted my grille with.

as long as the whips are clean and free of contaminats you should be fine, prep work is the key
