I don't think I need new boots. I'm running the stock SD boots on the intercooler itself and ones from dieselsite on the top.
I'll take some pics when I get a chance. I think the problem lies in the angle on the connection with the lower boot.
I should pry just buy some new boots though. I'll take a coulpe pics tomorrow.

If your boots are in good shape you just need to clamp tighter. My boots are orginal off what ever they came from and have taken them to 33 psi many times with no problems.

There are pretty tight. Is it possible to over tighten them? Should I tighten them until I can't turn the ratchet anymore? lol

it is possible to overtighten but I usually Tighten them more than they recommend. I pinch the springs down tight!
