17* Hpop

I have a 17* HPOP in transit...

How hard will this to be to install???

i believe it's a direct bolt on...

You need to swap the fittings from your old one to the new one. Other then that, direct bolt on.

does anyone have a link to RubberDuck's writeup on the super duty oil pump install? that is a very helpful writeup and its not boring to read either. RubberDuck made sure he had a little bit of humor in there as well.

OK, I give up. I was hoping that someone else would ask this question and I wouldn't always look like the dumb one. What does the "*" in referance to in a 17* fuel pump mean?

Thanks Aireeek. Mark, it really is any easy deal. It litterally looks harder than it is. But as a word of caution. I try to tell everyone who wants to use my writeup......There are NO real torque specs in it. You will need to find them on your own. That is if you are one of those people that need to torque everything. But the writeup will take you through it no problem. Just no torque specs, FYI. Good luck man.

degree.... 15* - 15 degree pump, 98* outside, driveshaft angle of 30*

thanks cody, i'll be swapping a 17* (degree) pump on within the next couple of months!

BTW... keep an eye on your mailbox this week

Did you send another stripper in a box? I had to sleep on the couch for a week last time! LOL I'll keep an eye on it.
