T-Case?
Which Transfer Case Do you all like best the BW1345 or the NP208?

they're both chain driven aluminum cased t cases. The b/w has known to have issues with the oil pump spinning out and burning up the case, but this can happen with any case.

Neither......






both aluminum cases with about the same low range and strength

Don't hear more complaints from one particular one over the other.

What you trying to use it far.

For nothing serious, either will work, but I'd look for one with a manual shifter.....

You looking to buy a truck, or replace a t case?

Just to replace, I have got the BW 1345 right now but its down and i was wondering to repair or replace ,how does the NP205 do,and will it bolt to my NP435?

Well the NP205 is a great t-case, and very, very strong.
It will bolt to the adapter, same bolt pattern, but from what I hear it isn't a dirrect swap, and would be more trouble than if you put another BW in.

I think the drive shafts will be different as the 205 is a thicker case IIRC

I'm hoping a custom yoke will work. Instead of buying a $150 yoke, I'm waiting for Ivan to take his off(he's about to upgrade)....


How's the tranny and cab swap going?

Pulled the front clip off the parts truck and disconnected everything, waiting for the bobcat specialist to pluck it off of there for me. Then I have to do the same to my bronco and Ill swap the trannies without the bodies on to make it a little easier. I pretty much only have sundays to work on them, so its going, but just not very fast lol

More progress than I'm getting....

There are thinks I'd like to do, but until I have a front driveshaft, I won't waste my time on them.

They can stretch out and may need to be replaced, but they usually stretch after 150,000+ miles if you aren't running anything extream.
