We got it (the "F100" is actually an F250 SuperDuty...) with the MWM (Brazilian made) 4.2l Inline 6 diesel, and I preferred the MWM unit over the 4bt for servicability and power (and reliability too) http://www.ford.com.ar/ford2007/
Another problem is... the 4bt isn't all that light either.
I saw those rangers in a magazine. I want one of those so bad. Id almost sell one of Quads kidneys to get it.
See how much you can get for one of Quads kidneys on e-bay and then get back to me
They are really good, reliable trucks the thing is, it doesn't get much better fuel mileage than the V6... (4.44 gears I installed might have something to do with that - the thing will climb Mt Everest though)

sun is good for me, both 4.10 both runable shape, going to need calipers and rotors on front as they're junk, prob shoes and wheel cyl in rear, the truck was driving around 2 weeks ago,
I wish instead of a liver I had a motorcraft FL1A oil filter screw in. I could change it every weekend. If I started getting real hard core I could always add a oil cooler.
