Well i dont really care about the quietness of the ride cause when you have 5 inch stacks comming through your bed you really cant hear anything else....
TRUE. I dont see much need for a quiet ride either, but hey, im still young and dont mind shifting a manual transmission either... in another ten or twenty years? we'll see. I might just want the quietest thing i can find. Until then its open headers, flowmasters, subs and big meaty tires... LOL
Well with the straight d44 nothing was said of 500Hp-600Ft.lbs. before, Yeah with that and a locker, you would break a ton of crap. This guy seems to be keeping it unlocked and stock Hp. That is where i was coming from.
Well im tired of repeating the same stuff again and again, im sure you guys are too. So Lets just end the insanity and talk some good wheeling stuff...
ok, i keep going, your not the old guy, i am! wtf i'll be 33 on tuesday, and oh yea back to the with 5 inch stacks coming through the bed you can't here anything anyway, that supports my young and inmature statement, i have stacks ( on my diesel) and can still here everything, why in the world would you want your truck so loud that you couldn't hear the tires? and also to clarify i wasn't steriotyping young people, it was more of a statment questioning the resposability of such person, we have alot of smart reponsable guys here, makingcustom supensions and lift kits, my hats off to you all, but when someone asks a question and is recommended to try something else instead of even trying to see the ideas behind said comments, thats inmature, weather your 20 or 50,
I know what my mindset was when I was in highschool. I bought thornbirds and a 3" body lift. I give props to chrono and the rest of the "young" guys in the minions for having such a level head. Deffinately wise beyond their years.
ozzy, youre right. These days you have conscious concerned respectable 15 yr old guys and you have idiot 30 year old guys. Age is just a number. Experience rules all but it doesnt necessarily come natually with age. Experience comes with buying thornbirds and a 3" body lift then regretting it and never doing it again.
I have a 79 F150 stepside and would like to run 35s and do some occasional mudding with it. First i am searching for a new c6.......any suggestions? Think i am gonna go with PATC. Also what size lift and what type of tires do you guys recommend?
my birfday is april teh 19th. maybe we need a big gtg in that month. i only missed being the new hitler by 1 day google april 19th through history, lotsa people die on it every year damn near. i get sacrifices on my b-day
