Well i gotta say, my brother has a 95 150 with the ttb and he has been running 37 inch boggers for a few years now with no problems.... He does mud it quite often as well. I have heard of some people having problems with 37's but havent personally seen it. Just my two pennies. I think he'd be fine for the streets, i just dont know why he wants to waste the money to pound the pavement all the time...

So with knowing that im going to run 39.5's, will I be able to clear them with a 6 inch lift and 3 body or will I have to move up to an 8 inch lift? also will I have to do anything more to my power steering?-new pump, cylinder, anything like that?

so are you just ignoring everyone that tells you 39.5's on ttb is a bad idea?

Your power steering should be fine for street use, i dont know if the 39.5s would fit a 6 and 3 combo... In further talking with my brother, he said you would probably want to upgrade the u joints in that ttb setup for better dependability. Just make sure you arent locking that front end and we think the ttb should be okay for just street driving and maybe an occasional off road trip, just remember it will be at its limits, so there will be the possibility of it breaking stuff. My brother had good luck running his 37s but you never know, a lot of these guys have had experience with the ttb systems failing them or others they know. Ultimately, its your choice and your money, but if something breaks, dont come crying back here or they might tear you a new one... LOL.

My brothers 37 boggers on a six inch pro comp lift left him with trimming just a little bit off the front lower valance, and just a touch off of the rear front fender lip. He also had to push the front bumper out about 3/4 of an inch. So, the 39s might just clear with a bit of trimming but i wouldnt hold my breath for it...

39.5s aren't the limit for a D44 TTB, 35s are!

Well, my brother and i would beg to differ, but to each his own i guess. I ran 35s on stock jeep drivetrain for 4 and a half years with no issues what so ever, i know the ttb is stronger than the 30 / 35 setup i had in the jeep...

that heep weighs probably half of a fullsize ford, plus the solid axle gives a strength advantage of ttb...
