what to plug CCV intake pipe port with?

maybe one day this piece will be eliminated completely, but right now i am just doing the long overdue CCV mod and keeping the aluminum pipe. any common things to plug that little pipe with or do i just need to scrounge something. anyone know what size the little port is? 3/4" like the cap on the valve cover?

It's not pretty, but you can just use a short piece of hose with a plug in it. Or clean it, tape it off, and fill it with JB Weld or other epoxy.

I took a small piece of thin aluminum, cut it to shape, drilled a hole for the screw, used grey ATV and viola, sealed!!!

I scrounged up a little rubber plug but I was thinking about a wine cork and maybe a piece of hose and a hose clamp-then at least you could have a beverage while you work (you don't want to do an immediate test drive after this mod.)

I agree, it just doesn't work. Now I prefer something in a red can, for stability reasons of course.

i've never seen a coozie (whatever you call those insulating sleeves that help keep my tasty beverages cold) big enough to fit a bottle of wine.
