Line o fire with Reverse light hookup
Does anyone know if the reverse light hookup can be made without pulling the taillight assembly ?
If so, where could I find the positive reverse light wire to splice into ?
Thanks in advance...
or I gotta go find my star / torx set for the taillight screws
by the by, so far the turn, brake, etc is worth the price of admission !
Weigh cool !!!

If you have the tow package, there should be a black w/pink stripe wire going to the 7-way connector for the back up lights.
You should test it with a voltmeter to verify, please don't assume I know what I'm talking about

The tail light assembly is very easy to pull off.
Why would you not want to?
You did see this?
"The bar plugs directly into your factory 4-prong standard towing harness or simply wires directly into your factory tail light wiring."

When they say "wires directly into your factory tail light wiring ", I am sure they simply mean to wire it into the reverse wire.

yes, it does say ALL THAT
i do have tow package - actually I thought they all did ... at least the 3 I've had did !
probably ezier to go buy a set of star drives then find mine
the 4 prong plug works fine - just need to get the 5th reverse wire spliced in...
will probably hard wire the 4 prong harness in when I have time so it leaves my factory plug available for my trailer...
thanks 4 the ideas !
