I had to buy two crew cabs to get one emblem each. They look so so, and do not look good enough to put back onto a painted truck. Somebody did link a site that sold repro stickers that went inside the chrome, I dont think they are raised letters however.

I'd like the 8 minutes of my life back that I spent reading this thread. What a circle jerk! I sell a lot on eBay. As a seller I have no control over what the auction brings. I've been guilty of the $80 sunvisors that I bought for $5 at a junkyard. Oh no, sue me. Interior parts last much longer up in the Northeast than they do in the sunsoaked South. What's rare to some people is piled in bunches in another persons shed.
More importantly, who knows what the buyers situation is. Who knows what his truck looks like. For all we know he may put them in a glass case on display in his living room. Who cares? He wanted em for $300. Good for him. if I was the seller, I wouldn't care if he made a belt buckle from them.
An item is worth what the market will bear, period.

Thanks for those great pictures. I haven't found that link yet, but it gives me the idea of trying to take a set of crappy emblems and use these closeups to have this made, (maybe in vinyl) and tranferred and covered.
I could put them on ebay and make a fortune!!!

I found the site on ebay with the reproduction crew cab emblems. They sell only the inside replacement. You must have the chrome outside piece to start with. It is onceuponapart They have emblem inserts for the 67-72 trucks also, in case anyone is interested. 32.00 plus shipping. Thanks for the lead!!
