Thanks Jim. No sense worrying about the long OCI. I have done the same thing on other vehicles - life gets very busy.
Take Blackhat620's advice and sample this oil at 4000 and see how the numbers come back. Chances are you should be OK.
Your post is very useful for those who may think they can go to very extended OCI's just because they switched to a synthetic. What I learned is that viscosities will begin to increase as oil life goes up significantly. Just re-inforces w/ me to stick to manufacturers OCI as a maximum.
