Warantee issue with ford... help???

If it in there book to use, then it not right. It's something like not changing oil on time and running over 10k before they change the oil. Then they could void the warranty.

They're probably down on sales and service revinue so they're trying to screw you. Do what the techs have already posted. Be a pain in the butt customer and raise some hell. They're here to serve us, the customer. Bust out your warranty booklet and start taking names!

My owners manual says that in temp above 30 f that 15w 40 is the approved oil, i would fight it, does the oil meet CI-4, or CH-4 specs?

That oil story is complete bull from the dealer...
And yes you can post a list of FTE recommended dealers around the country.. You just have to put a disclaimer stating it is an opinion of FTE only and not an endorsed official ford dealer list
The wording needs to be correct though...
