still, if you spend 50 large on a truck they should take you downtown to buy crack if you want.

kind of like you huh? i mean you came in here with the truck is junk and you seem unwilling to settle for less.
if it was only WIF why didnt the other chaps fix it? if they had a go at it and it didnt work then you know they where wrong. if they didnt put parts on it you know they where right. i mean sounbody has to pay for them. its not some giant conspiricy. its sounds the same as other trucks that died with WIF.

Read the whole thread. IF the station had 5 gallons of water come through with 18 gallons (over 20%) of my dad's fuel don't you think others would have been broken down on the highway too? (As stated above) There is no way that much water came through on one truck and everyone else that fills up there didn't get any.
I just don't buy that this station all of a sudden fed a truck (and just one truck) 5 gallons of water with its fuel. Meanwhile, all of the big rigs and anyone else that bought diesel there, have no problems whatsoever.
They also told the tow truck driver that picked it up yesterday that they THINK there is gasoline in there.
Funny, his reciept says diesel on it.
You see now why I'm pissed? Dealer says its this, then its that, then is something else. They can't fix it cause they don't know their **** from a hole in the ground.
When I first came in, I was pissed, and I'm even more so now. A brand new vehicle should not just quit out of nowhere, at least not if somebody cannot come straight with what is wrong.
In any case, I pray you did contact Ford about the dealerships treatment of your father.
Best of luck,
Richard

Not Ford's fault, I should not have been so pissed, but he was still treated poorly at the dealership.

What actually came out of the nozzle though, resulted in destroyed injectors.

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
he was still treated poorly at the dealership.
lets see. bill at first dealership that did not repair truck, towing bill, bill at second dealer to fix the truck = fuel man needs to open wallet.
if it was me, i wouldnt pay past the first dealer but maybe you will have better luck. could take up to 3 years if they dont want to settle out of court.
glad you truck is getting fixed. dealerships are not ford, they are independant. you have freedom of choice and most if not all of the ones i have come accross are terrible for service. ill just keep trying another one until i find a good one i guess, might never happen in this lifetime.
im curious as to the response from the station. clearly they had more than one complaint.
it may be an uphill battle but the fact he was on the road and passing thru with his reciept you should prevail even if they are not forthcoming. probable they will get advised to settle.
