Regen Light...
I was told that the PCM flash (recall) to prevent blow out (fire out the exhaust) resets the computer to only regen at speeds around 50 MPH. It would be nice to put a light on the dash to tell us when the regen is occurring. I know mine does it but seldom do I notice it...

I get them all the time while idleing,mine has been going into regen every 120 miles.. I do alot of intown driving though...

I have 400 miles on my new 08 and when I pulled in the garage today I noticed a very hot smell was this possibly a result of a regen. I did not notice the rpm while I was driving and nothing seemed unusual before or after except the strong odor of something hot. Great truck so far but like everyone else say the fuel mileage s***s.
