Remote start in SD XL

Hi guys,

I just got a 2003 F250 XL SC. This truck has manual door locks.
Is there a nice quality remote starter that comes with a remote that only controls the starter?

I'd like to find one with great range, and the option that will start it automatically at timed intervals during extremely cold nights.

I have never seen one that will start itself automatically. You or someone would have to start it throughout the cold nights if you really needed too. I know DEI makes a remote start only unit. I am sure there are others.

My brother has the option where it starts up automatically through the night on his 150.

If anyone can point me to one or two specific models to start with, that would be great.

I know Crimestopper has a automated self stater in some of thier units. I just can't recall which ones at this moment. I believe its within 1-4 (or 6?) hr intervals.

Why would you want one that starts the truck at overnight intervals? Where do you live that it would be so cold to make you want to start and restart the truck overnight? I'm sure you have a logical explaination..................
