Neal, pull the black dash bezel off. On the right side of where the bezel was there is a good sized hole in the dash (near the center) and through that hole you can see the remote keyless box if you have one. I just had mine apart doing a gauge cluster swap, and noticed it because it said something about remote keyless transmitter or something to that effect on it.
i have had these pics in my wbshots for a while. the grey plug is right above the go pedal. the brain is directly behind the cubby hole on the dash has fcc id #'s on it and stuff. to program more than one is easy. i even have the written instructions.
cody
any style #2 fob from ford will work even if it says ranger or explorer. buy a couple used they are usually less than 5 bucks.
to program goes something like this
turn on key
use screwdriver to jump grey plug locvks will cycle hit a button on fob
locks cycle again turn off key and lock cycle again and try fob.
if you wanna do more than one hit the button on another fob before turning off key and after locks cycled from previous fob.

Yup I definately don't have the "brain" that is in your webshots. That area is completely empty. Do you think it is possible to get the brain from a junkyard? Or are the wires missing also. I don't see any capped or spare plugs either.
