So now that I'm finally gonna have power windows and locks, how do I hook up factory keyless. I know there is a module under the dash. So say I get one from a junk yard, then what?
ive been trying to track down the parts for the same thing. in the service manual it looks like theres two parts and the tail between it for the the keyless. i just have a factory remote still need the rest of the parts for mine if you run across another one
Ono, I don't think the truck has keyless entry. It does have power everything. I'm going to get the truck next week. So it may have keyless, I'm just trying to plan my attack.
Jake, I've got to go to briggs this week and I know for certain, there are a few trucks there with the modules. I know because I disassembled one dash for the wiring to the windows when I was collecting parts for my power window install on No.3. I'll see what I can come up with when I go and let you know. Maybe this will be a good chance to meet finally.
There's actually an extra control module that goes under the dash if I'm not mistaken that's needed for the keyless part. But now that you mention that, there's a guy in San Antonio that has factory key fobs for sale. I better check that out. LOL
