OK, just wanted to make sure we are all on the same page. I don't care about bickering about Southern workers or UAW unions. All I want to know is if the 09 Ford F-150 will have a turbo charged, intercooled gas sipping V8.
So I can look at trading the dodge I have and really don't like.
Plus anything with a turbo is cooler than without. E-85 is .50 - .80 cents cheaper a gallon here and I would rather pay farmers. Turbo's would take advantage of the 104+ octane rating and be highly tunable
Staying out of boost usually renders pretty decent mileage 25+ range I would hope.
So, yea I have high hopes and would like to hear more from people in the "know".
The rest, I really don't care about. Capitalism is as it should be (well kinda) make the best product for the least amount of money and win business regardless of anything else.
