ABS Light

I have had a problem with a ABS light coming on and off. A friend put a scanner on it and it came up 1342 Does anyone know what that means?

Did the code have a P in front of it. Because my code reader says P1342 is a:
Manufacturer Control Ignition System or misfire. The ABS light usually is a direct result of some problem with the VSS switch on the rearend. Usually it you pull it out and clean any metal shavings off of the magnet it will start working again as long as it is not totally trashed.

if it is a B1342, that code descrition is abs control module failure. sounds expensive.
