Hot damn, I got the fuel damper (Disc) off it was a spap. I out a small set of vise grips on the edge close to a turbo strut and used a large screw driver and pried against the visegrips and it moved approx 3/8" and viola....I was able to spin it off and remove it. By the way I priced that dampner at the stealership and they get $115.00+. So you don't want to screw it up.
Now the bigger problem comes to light. The mount that the disc was screwed into is approx. 11/2" to 13/4" long so it moves the banjo nut/bolt way back under the turbo. There appears to be a devil lurking about me
If any of you guys that have removed the banjo nut/bolt (Whatever) please tell me how you did it. I would rather preform a self induced vasectomy than remove that turbo.
Help, please before I have the big one. This job is starting to make
me sick
