Austin A40 pickup

Maybe this one will work. Yea!! It did work this time. There are two places on the 'properties' of a facebook photo and I was copying the wrong one. It needs to be the complet URL and not the one at the top of the dialog box. Thanks again, Mr. Jones! In addition to my admiration of British cars and Ford trucks, I also like Austin pickups. This is a RHD Austin of England A40 pickup. I would really like to have one, but they are rare.

One a roll! Here is another of my desires -

This is a little different than a Ford pickup, but I would bet that most FTEs would not kick this out of their garage. This is a Jaguar XJ 220. It does not fit with my MG and old Ford truck budget, but if you are going to dream, why not dream big??

Hey. this is easy and posting pics is going to be lots of fun!

Posting Rules

I have been trying to post a picture, followed instructions, I noticed down at the bottom of the page, under "Posting Rules" it says "May not post attachments". Could this be why, and how can I fix this?

The "You may not post attachments" statement means you cannot pull images directly off your computer and stick them into your post, you have to be a paid member to do that. For non-paying members the images you want to post have to parked somewhere on the internet on either a private web site or a image hosting site like Photobucket or Flickr. Once the image is uploaded from your computer to one of the image hosting sites you then need to get the URL, or web address of that image, copy it and then paste that into your post.

That explains it, thanks!

sheet metal

gdgerland is correct. The sheetmetal in question is in front of and below the original radiator location. I'm learning how to post a picture. I outlined it with a thin black line.

One suggestion I would like to offer is to make your images 850 pixels across, if you go larger a person has to scroll from side to side to view your entire image and it distorts all of the other posts in the thread.

Thanks Bob, I'm trying to learn this. After I posted I saw how big they were . Then I went back to my folder and downsized them there. Didn't want to repost them though.
Thanks again , Tim

In the GALLERIES, you have the option to change the order of the photo's as 56PF mentioned. There is a box under the photo designated for the "Order" If you put a number in there that is already used by another photo, it will move it directly under the existing photo - probably as the next number after the one you asked it to be. For example, if you want to move a photo up to #14 and you already have a #14 it will make the photo you select #15 instead. Then you can flip flop those two.

If you are building an ALBUM you don't have this option. The site will load the photos such that th emost recently loaded photo is listed first. So, if you are building an album and want the photos to progress in a certain order. You have to load them last ones first.

Talking Pictures out of sequence

Yes, I've built them in my album....and they are out of order. When i have more time I'll try to redo them. I didn't know that you could load them in galleries. What the difference and where do I go to load them ? Thanks for all the help. Frank

Hi Frank,

To load into your galleries, I think Bob walked through the process way back on the first page or so.

But basically, you click on the "User CP" in the upper left of the forum page, and where you found the "Albums" in the left hand column, drop down a little farther and there's a spot under "Settings and Options" to "Edit Gallery" Click on that. You will have to fill out a Gallery title then you will see the "Browse Boxes" Go from there.!

You can edit photos in the galleries, add captions, and set the order. Also I think you can load more photos in the galleries
