I can't seem to find in the search page so I'll just ask. I seem to remember reading something here about a fuel line mod. that crosses behind the back of the engine to help with fuel flow. Has anybody done this? If so what is it called?
its called the HPX(high pressure crossover) mod. its for the high pressure oil not the fuel. it balances the High pressure oil pressure from head to head since the ICP sensor is only on one head.
it comes with em. yes its simple. you gotta relocate the passenger side hpo line up one port(the brass plugs in the heads) and then put the JIC fittings in the heads and then tighten the hose to each. very easy 20 minutes and a couple of wrenches.
very cool! I'll study the mod. I'm hoping it helps me. I sometimes have what I would describe as fuel starvation in the right bank or a sticking injector when I get in the throttle. It seems to clear up when I shut down and restart. It might be related to High pressure oil.
Hey Tim, you can buy it direct from KCM here: http://members.***.net/kcmdieselperf...0Crossover.htm and it's cheaper from them, $55 & free shipping. Also a 12 month warranty. Hope this helps you save some green. By the way, I'll be watching your "no fan" thread.
