Redford, that was one of the main reason I went with the Warn Gold, when my OME's went out it was going to be 100 bucks more for the Original Junk Hubs.
MileMarker also makes good hubs, according to many who use them. Also, check our sponsors ...
I did the Warn Premiums a few years back the first time my ESOF hubs started to unlock after the vacuum "lock" pulse ended.
I've done some pulling in the woods, trees, rocks, stumps, you name it - with all the hopping the front-end did in these situations, I'm sure the stockers would have failed.
$200 is definitely worth it. Especially compared to the cost of new Ford hubs. It's the going price though. Sometimes youw ill find a retailer that is way lower than another, but not in the case of warn premium hubs.
I tried the Superwinches, and am sorry I didn't buy the Warns. www.4wheelparts.com has them for about $210.
Good thread, I was just thinking about which hubs I wanted to buy.
What happened to your Superwinches? I've always known that Warn sets the standard for hubs, but I was just wondering if they were really worth the premium price. I am interested in hearing about any breakages anyone has had with their aftermarket hubs!

The Superwinch hubs do not have the little roller bearings in them that the factory ones do, they have this bushing that starts to bind over time, within 3 months they started making a wierd noise, they were actually starting to bind up ! Other Superwinch hub applications might not do this. But the ones designed for the Dana 60(50) are just a bad design. I didn't really notice that they didn't have the bearings when I installed them, only when I removed them, and started examining them for the problem. I cleaned up old factory ones and reinstalled them and noise was gone. Ofcourse the factory are not working right, but I need something in the whole to keep out dust until I can replace them.
I got mine from Advanced Auto Parts online store, They had them at my door in 2 days with standard shipping. They were 239.00 plus local tax for the Premiums. Could probably get them a little cheaper but I do not like to wait for parts. Plus winter is around the corner and my stock hubs finally died at 165,000.
One thing that was interesting to me, was Warn offered "fuses" for their hubs. In essence, they break when the torque gets so high that you're going to break an axle stub or axle.
