ford to chevy bed comparison

How much difference is there between a long bed chevy '85 and a long bed ford '95? Will a campershell fit alright? Thanks

85 idk but 87 is standered 8foot but 85 was a year for short beds i know that much, huh i will let someone else look it up cause i am already looking up three things

I think I have found the answer,
'85 Chevy bed is 65.5" inside and 72 outside,
My '95 Ford is 65 inside and 73 outside. Close enough.

The chevy will fit the ford to 96. Yes they are shapped different at front( back cab shape) . But most from the big 3 would work more or less . D till 92, C till 90ish on HDs . I got a 80 chevy cap on my truck right now till i find a better one.

you can fiberglass your own if you want, or let eco do it, he is pretty good at making stuff you should see his van, lostin90s...

If he live closer I'd get him yo make surround for a billet grill . A guy is suppode to make a mold for me but is so busy I dont plan to see it soon. I've done it my self but have no garage room right now.

As for the cap I had it and the $$ is short right now.

How do you know eco makes fiberglass stuff? And how did you see his van, he claims that he doesn't have any pictures of it...

ECO' makes great fiberglass stuff, check out those wings on the van of his!

Chevy beds are crap compared to fords.
Fords are bigger.

The only reason i know this for fact is you can fit 1 more bail of hay in the bed of a ford then you can a shebby.
