As things go, things change and I have had a priority shift…. I’m going to be in the market for a complete 92-93 extra cab, long bed 4x4, 5spd and with that…

I have decided to sell the crew cab as a roller (less motor, trans, transfer, drive shaft and fuel system. This sale includes all chassis parts (rubber, moldings, painless wiring, etc), all suspension components, including axles (D60/D80), disc brakes, hydroboost, steering gear (rebuilt and ported for ram assist), coilovers, parts to four link the rear (no coils), seats (no mount brackets)…. And whatever else I have chassis related (all twin turbo piping included). So she basically needs a donor, electrical, paint, wheels/tires and misc. items for completion.

$10,000 or possible trade for a 92-93 as mentioned above.

Sucks to hear, but as you said life and priorities change. Will the cummins be going in the 93-96?

That will be the general plan... main thing will be to have a running (as is) truck that I can enjoy.

Less work to finish this than to put that diesel in a different truck.

When you set the motor in the truck did you have to cut the firewall to fit. I'm doing the same thing just in a 2wd dully that has a 390 in right now. Im just getting parts togetter for the time being till my rock buggy is done. Just trying to get a little info Thanks Randy

I didn't know Ford made a crew cab in 1969. Nice truck!!, and very nice fab work. Looking forward to see the final installation. Plus I’m curious on what kind of gas mileage you'll get with the Cummins. Are you using a manual 4-speed?

I do believe he sold it and someone parted it out. It was an awesome build. Read the last few posts

I sold the body and kept every single bit of the rest of the build....

And I just picked up a 92' Dodge W250 Club Cab Long Bed. Just updated the front springs to 6" Skyjackers, installed crossover steering... waiting for my ported PSC steering box and then I'll install ram assist. Currently gathering some misc. parts to swap in the NV4500 and the Dana 80 w/discs. Lots of other mods coming...

The front Dana 60 axle and 16" coilovers have found their way under my rock crawler project (87 XJ on 42" Pitbulls) that should be back on the road this summer!

5 Speed NV4500 w/1.375" input shaft and cast iron tail housing... details are in the thread, but it's a lot of reading.

Sounds like a good project. I was thoroughly impressed with your fab work and welding.
I'm currently restoring my dad's 1969 F-100 and I’m working on the worn steering column and adding a steering box off a 1977 F-150. The truck has 450,000 miles and was used as a ranch truck with a lot off road, and pulling. There was a lot of wear and tear on the original running gear, but overall it held up very well. I installed the front and rear differentials off the 1977 F-150 donor truck and installed a 6" skyjack lift w/Kumo 35's. Need P/S in a bad way, but trying to keep the interior stock as possible. The original steering column is badly worn, however NumberDummy has giving me some good leads to find parts. Hopefully I find the parts this week.
