Yes, it's a foam rubber gasket with generous thickness. The foam compresses as you tighten the nuts. I think most guys put a little silicone around the holes for extra assurance. It's been asked before, and seems like no one had any leaking problems.

I can hook anyone up with a set of OEM ones if you want.
I was looking for pictures for another customer and ran across this thread.
I was fumbling around in my truck (see signature) looking for the connector behind the passenger side kick panel and I couldn't find any loose or unused connectors in there. I found two, one of which went up to my console, but nothing unused. I know that if I have an overhead console (I do), I need a different harness... is that what it's for, to allow for connecting both the console AND the lights up using the existing connector? Any early Super-Duty owners out there who've done this mod?

The connector for the overhead console is also the same one as the clearance lights. If you get the correct harness, which is for both the console and the clearance lights, it will plug right in.
so, I already have factory cab/clearance lights but want to change to "clear" lens and put in some LED bulbs, I think that would look sweet. Does anyone know who sells clear lens that are direct replacements for the factory amber lens?

RECON sells them... there's a few vendors on the forums here that sell them I think.

SWEET!!! The Parts Guy has got me an entire set of everything I need at about $70... can't beat that! Plus, it's all plug and play and makes for a VERY neat install. Now, if I can clean up my radio delay mod so it looks stock...
Yikes... I just checked the dealer's prices for everything and my dealer quoted me something around $125! The Parts Guy has got my stuff at about $80... sorry, I was wrong in last post. I've got the items in my favorites and I'll get them one of these days.
