hey fellas, i have a 96 f250 and i just bought a dump trailor for it. im looking at chips and upgrades and could use some info. I dont know much about the diesels, but i own a 93 dodge stealth RT, twin turbo. I bought a greddy profec b for my car and now i can change the boost from inside the car with the turn of a dial. is there anything similar to this that i can use for my truck? any info would help, im all ears! thanks guys!
For more power you will need a custom chip, Tony Wildman or DP Tuning, (don't waste your money or time on a Super Chip, Banks, programmer, etc.), larger injectors, and supporting mods (round down pipe, open air intake, CAT delete, gauges, etc.)
On the custom chip, you can have it burned for any tunes that you like, and them just turn the dial as your driving down the road. It's the best bang for the buck. You will see some power increase with the custom chip on a stock truck but not as much as on a truck with larger injectors and the rest.
