Since you're in HotVegas, consider removing the Air Intake Heater from the Y-pipe and getting your boost reading there. Most boost gauges (I've got Autometers) come with the plug that fits the hole vacated by the AIH. If you are really into boost readings, tap into the turbo outlet part of the Y-pipe. Then you are reading true boost pressure without losses from the intercooler. Hope that helps, others will add info I've forgotten....
k well either way i need to replace the map sensor line if you delete the aih can you put it back later
if you keep the heater you can put it back later..here is a boost fooler with a new map line..i have this one now..when you get above 22 psi it doesnt leek the boost. he also sells the plug for the heater if you want to take it out http://www.itpdiesel.com/store.php?crn=102&rn=280&action=show_detail

Thanks I appreciate the offer. Is there a difference between the one that blows off and the one that doesnt. I have an upgraded turbo so im not worried about to much psi. To me the one that doesnt blow off is more efficent?????
Where can I get a boost fooler that you can also tap the boost guage into it.
The T method just sucks and im tired of it. Thanks for the help.
Hey redneck, check out my gallery. I just took care of this, this past weekend. Boost tee is the worst solution for sure. I drilled/tapped the intake spider with a 5/16 and a 1/8 NPT tap. Not nearly as difficult as one would think. Just need to be patient and go slow as the intake is aluminum.
