The first problem you list sounds like a dirty speed sensor in your differential might be dirty. You can pull it out and clean it this would also be a good time to service your differential to. A bad PRNDL(manual laver position) sensor. Will also cause this when they get warm. The fix for that is replace it.

what do you mean “will not move” does it fill like it’s in neutral or like it’s in 4th and you need to down shift to a lower gear? And once your moving is it shifting?
thanks for the reply, all sensors have been replaced to include:mlp,speedo-sensor, tps,and solenioid pack again! all by trans shop in town. nothing fixed prob. as far as woun't move at all, meaning it feels like it wants to go,but will not move until shift out of overdrive is selected by the button on the shifter.
Well the only thing that changes in the trans when you turn the overdrive off is the coast clutch comes. That is before 95. The main input for the trans is the input clutch it’s a one-way sprag. Then when you turn O.D. off the coast clutch is on for more strength .
I hate to say it but it I think you need to find a better shop. One that is honest with a good reputation. I worked in trans shops for 14yrs auto shops for a few more and there are some bad one and some very bad ones. Look for a ATRA shop in your area and then ask ATRA which one they recommend. Here if their link http://atra.com/
sorry you had to find one of the bad ones.
Maybe you will be lucky and they might want to save there rep. and fix it right under warranty.
Just remember there are still good mechanics and shops out there. You just have to ask around.
